Oatmeal Banana Bites

Raise your hand if you love a good cookie! Yeah, me too. However, a lot of times these delicious things aren’t great for us. All of that sugar, fat…etc, does not help support any kind of healthy movement you are trying to do.

Healthy solution? I found one

! These cookie are three simple ingredients, and taste awesome! They are great for kids, adults and athletes alike. I even use these as pocket snacks when I’m snowboarding all day.

Here’s how to make them:


  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled
  • 1 C steel cut oats
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350* Fahrenheit
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher
  3. Add oats and cinnamon to the mashed bananas. Mix well
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Spray cookie sheet with olive oil spray, or spray of choice
  6. Spoon mixture, creating ~1″ balls, and place onto baking sheet
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes. (Since these guys are all safe raw ingredients, cook it to your liking of texture)
